[Girl]
He was looking down at his toes.
I walked past him in the hallway when I felt a friendly feeling go through my body, that calm and steady feeling that always brings warmth and love around people.
At class my teacher, Mrs. Hern announced the new kid and he was the same guy who passed by me in the hallway.

[Boy]
I was looking down at my toes. I saw a girl walking down the hallway.

[Boy]
When I was done being introduced and shaked and frightened, class was over.
I walked to the hallway and then walked past her. I felt the same feeling I felt before.

[Girl]
After the new kid was done being introduced, class was over.
I walked past him, again. I felt the same feeling I felt before.
A very good mysterious feeling.

PART:2

[Girl]
The next morning, he was sitting on his own chair along with his desk. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I wondered if he noticed me, or if he even knew it was me who walked past him.

[Boy]
The next morning, she was sitting on her chair. It was History class.
Time went so slow. It almost felt like time gear was spinning around my head trying to process my brain in what happened yesterday and the friendly feeling I felt.

[Girl]
I couldn't process what happened yesterday and the friendly feeling I
felt. I wanted to talk to him so I decided to wait for him in the hallway because that's the place I saw him and I thought he would come there again.

[Boy]
I wanted to talk to her so I decided to wait for her in the cafeteria.
After class it was lunch break, I waited for her in the cafeteria because she must,ve been hungry after a long history class.
She didn’t show up…
I waited…
And waited…
She never showed up.

[Girl]
After class it was lunch break, I thought he would show up in the hallway, but he didn't.

[Girl]
After the lunch break we had no more breaks so I didn’t have a chance to talk to him. All I could do was either look at him or do nothing but listen to the teacher.

[Boy]
When school ended I had to leave early because I had a private violin lesson so I was picked up by mom. Then she waved to me. She made an expression that obviously said bye.

[Girl]
When school ended he had to leave early and I don't really know why but I made an expression that meant bye but I hoped he saw me and knew what that meant.

PART:3

[Boy]
I felt like she felt the friendly feeling, no I KNEW she felt the friendly feeling, I mean why else would she want to say bye to me?

[Girl]
The next morning, I sat waiting until class was over so I could meet him at lunch break. It had seemed that yesterday he knew what I said. After class I whispered to him to meet me in the hallway while we were lining up for lunch break.

[Boy]
The next morning , the girl was thinking and mumbling to herself, then she flashed a look on me. She whispered to me to meet me at the hallway when we were lining up for lunch break.

[Girl]
I met him at the last table in the cafeteria, the 11th one and we sat there nervously looking at each other.

[Boy]

I spoke first. “Um hi” I said. She said hi back.

I asked her a few questions and she did answer back. I became less nervous about her and we began talking. I started joking around a little. She laughed. I was not nervous anymore and she asked me to play with her during recess since she didn’t have any friends to play with. I said yes. We played a lot and had lots of fun. Ever since that day, I was never sad anymore because I had made one friend. ,.
